VIDEO: 2023 Senior Property Tax Reimbursement – Deadline Approaching!

Attention seniors! The deadline to apply for the 2023 Property Tax Reimbursement, also known as the "Senior Freeze," is quickly approaching. Applications must be submitted by October 31st.

This program offers a great opportunity for senior homeowners to freeze their property taxes at the 2022 amount, providing relief from future tax increases.

Eligibility Criteria:

- You must have owned and lived in your home since December 2019.

- If you're applying for the first time, you must have been 65 or older in 2022. Those receiving Social Security Disability benefits can apply regardless of age.

- Income limits apply. You must have earned:

• $150,000 or less in 2022

• $163,050 or less in 2023

If you're already enrolled in the program, you should have received a blue booklet in the mail with details on how to apply. Make sure to submit your application by the October 31st deadline!
